New Horizons

My little Ava is having a bit of an existential crisis at the age of 4. She is sad that preschool has ended, and she's not so sure about this new Kindergarten thing we keep talking about. There was excitement when she saw her new elementary school...but that was before the reality of moving on hit.

We're working on numbers and letters - practicing writing and sounds - to get ready for school. I told her about the kind of supplies we'll buy at the end of the summer. Fresh crayons, a pencil case, some school clothes, and a brand new lunchbox (probably involving ponies).

This summer is going to be fun, and then hopefully the transition into Kindergarten will be a smooth one.
