Most parents want to be as informed as they can be when their children aren't feeling well. Instead of going online to check symptoms and get medical information - that's likely to be wrong - parents and caregivers can flip through The A to Z of Children's Health: A parent's guide from birth to 10 years. This book has 14 contributing authors - doctors and a nurse - from The Hospital for Sick Children [SickKids] in Toronto, and has 400+ pages of information.
The A to Z of Children's Health covers so many topics from allergies, breastfeeding issues, and choking; to picky eating, cold & flu, tummy aches & headaches; to sleep issues, sibling rivalry and learning problems. Every concern is covered, and very easy to find in the book. New and seasoned parents can benefit from having The A to Z of Children's Health in the home at the ready for anything that may come up.
I like that I have a tangible and trustworthy reference book to grab when I have questions. A quick scan through the table of contents, flip to the correct page, and there's all the info about any symptom, condition or concern. Photos are included in some symptom chapters so parents/caregivers can look and compare them to their childrens' physical symptoms.
I received a copy of The A to Z of Children's Health: A parent's guide from birth to 10 years for my review. All opinions and reviews expressed are my own.
