Curious Critters: Volume Two - Children's Book Review

My girls love animals...perhaps bugs a little less... and with their new Curious Critters Volume Two book they can look at beautiful photos of all sorts of Critters. David FitzSimmons has taken a collection of wonderful photos and added humorous personalities - giving each Critter a voice with the text.

Each page has a simple white background which really allows for the Critters to jump up off of the pages. The white shows off the deep colours and details of every Critter.

Eastern Bluebird:

"Knock, knock.

Who's there?

Blue.

Blue who?

Aw! Are you lonely? Don't cry. Two weeks have passed, and I'm ready to hatch. Here I come!

Pip...Pip...Pip...Crack!"

This lovely Indigo Bunting bird is my fav:

The girls love these Eastern Cottontail bunnies:

Curious Critters Volume Two is a great book for kids of all ages. It may inspire children to pick up a camera and take photos of their own critters. Purchase a copy at the Curious Critter store, or Amazon.com.

Read many reviews of the book at Wild Iris Publishinghere. Reviews of Curious Critters Volume One are listed there too.

I received a copy of Curious Critters Volume Two for my review. All opinions and reviews expressed are my own.
