My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Cutie Mark Quests - Review

My daughters love to watch My Little Pony shows - especially the 'Friendship is Magic' series.  I sat with the girls and watched the soon to be released 'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Cutie Mark Quests', and they really liked the episodes.

"In Equestria, being true to yourself is the key to earning your cutie mark. Join Twilight Sparkle, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash - as well as everyone's favorite Cutie Mark Crusaders, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom - as they journey to find their own Cutie Marks, take on the spirit of chaos and disharmony and visit a village where...everypony has given up their Cutie Marks?!

Maddie enjoyed watching two The Cutie Marks episodes because the ponies are little and she thinks they're funny:

The Return of Harmony episodes are too scary for 3 year old Maddie because of the dark dragon, so only Ava watched this part of the DVD. (Ava said, "I'm 8 so dragons don't scare me.")

She likes the drama and adventure of The Return of Harmony episodes:

I think that the My Little Pony - Friendship is magic series has great messages about friendship and acceptance of oneself and others. My girls like the 'Cutie Mark Quests' and 'The Return of Harmony' and I would recommend this DVD to other parents. (Just be mindful of which shows may be too much for young kids.)

My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Cutie Mark Quests is coming to DVD  June 30th, 2015 in Canada and the US from Shout Kids Factory in collaboration with Hasbro Studios. The My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Cutie Mark Quests DVD can be pre-ordered and purchased from Shout Factory, and

I received a copy of 'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Cutie Mark Quests' for my review. All opinions and reviews expressed are my own.
